Mt Albert Historical Society Inc's mission is to protect, preserve and educate on all matters historical in and relating to Mt Albert.
Mt Albert is defined as the area that was previously known as that covered by the Mt Albert City Council.

The Society holds regular gatherings with guest speakers, local walking tours and visits to places of interest.

Mt Albert Historical Society have published their long awaited new book on the history of Mt Albert called "Mt Albert Then and Now" written by historian Debbie Dunsford. It is available directly from the society for $25 if you wish to collect it locally or $33 inclusive of post and packaging within New Zealand.
