Walking and cycling tracks

Not only heritage, but a wonderful resource for walkers and cyclists: Auckland Council offers the Akl Paths map which shows all walking, tramping and cycling tracks in Auckland. You can choose a particular type of path (including heritage and Historic), or click on the map to show all paths in the Auckland Council region.

The Ōwairaka / Te Ahi-kā-a-Rakataura / Mt Albert Path track (the walk around the summit of the maunga) is included here.
