Alexander St was “probably named after John Alexander, an Auckland Barrister” (Auckland Libraries, n.d.; Davenport, 1990, p.13).
DESCRIPTION:
The boundary of Mt Albert runs along Alexander St. The houses on the west side are in Mt Albert.
Alexander St runs north west from Aitken Tce to Bright St.
Numbers run from 2 to 34 on the west side of the road.
