NAME:
King St has been known as King St South (Auckland Libraries, n.d.).
DESCRIPTION:
King St originally ran between Great North Rd and New North Rd. Around 1970 when the North Western Motorway was put through, King St was cut in two. The southern part is in Mt Albert.
Aitken Tce runs off it. Beyond Aitken Tce, King St is a cul de sac.
On the west side of the street, numbers run from 51 to 77. On the east side, numbers run from 52 to 62.
