Knight Ave

NAME:

Knight Ave was named after “George Orton Knight (1855-1945). He was an Auckland City Counsellor from 1903-1929. His home once stood at the end of this road” (Davenport, 1990, p.120). He subdivided the land (Auckland Libraries, n.d.).

DESCRIPTION:

Knight Ave is a cul de sac that runs north west from Asquith Ave.

On the northern side run numbers 1 to 13. On the southern side run numbers 2 to 16.
