NAME:

Lambeth Rd was named after Lambeth Palace, the residence of the Archbishop of Canterbury (Auckland Libraries, n.d.; Davenport, 1990, p.123).

Lambeth Rd was earlier named Puriri St.

DESCRIPTION:

Lambeth Rd runs west from Dominion Rd to Sandringham Rd.

The western half of Lambeth Rd is in Mt Albert, from #64/67. The road bends north west at this point.

Kiwitea St bisects Lambeth Rd.

On the north side, numbers run from 67 to 103. On the south side, numbers run from 64 to 68.
