NAME:
Guardwell Tce was known as Gardner Tce or Gardiner Tce until 1938, when many streets in Mt Albert were renamed.
DESCRIPTION:
Guardwell Tce is a continuation of Seaview Tce, running north west to terminate at the intersection of Monaghan Ave and Martin Ave.
Street numbering starts at the Seaview Tce corner. On the north side, numbers run from 1 to 7. On the south side, numbers run from 2 to 8.
FACTS ABOUT THIS STREET:
1937: Described as “100 yards long, with 5 residences” (Auckland Libraries, n.d.).
