NAME:
Haverstock Rd was called Mania Rd until 1916.
Haverstock Rd is named after a suburb in London (Davenport, 1990, p.97).
Until at least 1924 Kerr St ran across the end of Haverstock Rd, which terminated approximately where Pickens Cres intersects.
DESCRIPTION:
Haverstock Rd runs west from Sandringham Rd. At its western end it curves to the north and heads back east. At the point where Kerr St runs off to the north, Haverstock Rd‘s name changes to Hazelmere St.
Duncan Ave bisects it, Watea Rd runs off it, Fowlds Ave bisects it, Euston Rd, Pickett Ave and Te Kouka Ln run off it.
On the north side of the street, numbers run from 1 to 135. On the south side, numbers run from 2 to 170.
